Check it out and let me know what you think! :-D
I have since added a new Honda short track gas tank kit and a red Ceet cover with ATC on the sides. I'll try to get a new pic tonight for comparison.
Sweet. looks like it came off the showroom floor.

Here it is now with the short track tank and the red seat cover. I'm still getting used to the red. The stock blue seat cover looks good in the above pic but it had a cut right in the middle of the seat and was starting to get black spots on it. The stock gas tank was also "Plastic Renewed", looks good but gas kinda has a negative effect on it, so I knew that wouldn't last long, plus the s/t tank gives it that Team Honda look.

First i never knew they made red.....but even more importantly where did you get one that says "ATC" on the side ??
Was it "old stock", because when i called to get one for my 250SX, they said that they aren't allowed to used "Honda" on the back anymore, and i didn't think they were allowed to use "ATC" either...but then again...i see "250R" is always used, wouldn't that be trademarked by Honda too ??
Looks really good for sure !!
Did you do any mods to you TRX250EX ??

it should say: 1985/86 ATC250SX (it's a 85 with all 86 body work), 1984 ATC200X, 2001 TRX250EX....ahh i see it will work this time...i wasn't loggin in first last time

Muddy, that gif is sweet, hope I was able to save it, THANKS!
Alan, the red seat cover is made by CEET, I guess you could call it old stock, they only make blue ones now and they don't say anything on the side. I found that one (where else) on ebay. Oh yeah and the only mod I have made to the 250ex is replace the rear grab bar with a DG alloy, only after I tried to rip the stock one off with a high speed wheelie in a creek bed.

Upon closer analysis, I have decided that my trike would look alot better if it had RED GRIPS and FORK BOOTS. Grips, no problem. High quality red fork boots, is there such a thing? Anybody know if any year CR or XR had red fork boots the same size as a 250R -39mm or close. I haven't really seen any aftermarket boots that fit right and don't look like crap.
Skippy, I don't think you would need to make a whole new set from scratch. All the new ones do is tilt the rads back about 2 inches. I didn't do a exact comparison between stock and s/t, but that what it looked like to me. Maybe you could make some short brackets out of sheetmetal to tilt the original mounts back

I got some nice boots for my 200x from a local 4x4 shop. They're not just like stock ones but they look good and the dude at the shop gave them to me for free (he found some sitting in a box in the back and I guess he knew no one would buy them so he just gave them to me). It's worth a try and from what I've seen, even if you do pay for them at the 4x4 shop, you'll still save money over Honda parts.
Rich that is a really sweet lookin R! Them short track scoops look cool too. Where did ya get the headlight gaurd?

Thanks socal! I got the headlight guard at a small town Honda dealer in rural Missouri where I got our 250ex. It was still new in the package hanging on the wall. Now if I could only find a front fender stabilizer, new in the package. Does anybody have one/know of one?

Thanks for the compliments dudes! I'm going to try the Daystar boots. They are cheap enough that it they don't work out, its no big deal.
