xr 200-xl 200

do they interchange with one another?the reason i ask is because I have the chance to buy a xl200 engine cheap(needs some work) in my area and want to put it into my 200x,would xr 200 parts interchange with this engine?should I go for it?

I think the Xl has Points were the Xr has CDI, check bikebandit or something to see if the parts match up.

I pretty much have the xr conversion for the 200x down. I built 1 over a year ago and love it. I wish I new more about the xl 200r myself. If you find out more let me know. I am hoping to build a backup motor just in case. I will also keep my eyes open for any xl info.

as far as i know the only diffrence is that the XL is a dual sport.
