on your trike.. do you hear a " wirrrrrr " sound ?

stupid question i'm sure.. but i never really paid attention before now.

For an example.. when you hit the electric start and let go, and it don't start, you hear the starter run on for a second or two....

but during normal operation, after a ride, when you hit the kill switch, does your trike just quit.. or do you hear a werrring sound for a second or so ?

*( just trying to put my paranoia to peace..... sorry if this makes no sense ) :(

Your flywheel might be loose, I've had the same thing happen on my 200x before.

if im thinking of the same thing you are, it probably is just the engine turning over with no spark,, making the sound, does it do it when your sitting still and hit the kill switch?

Leave it in gear when you shut it off and the spinning should stop.

Does it with my 86 sx and that's what I do so it doesn't wind out when shutting it off.

when i was looking for a trike before i bought the 185S most of the 200cc bigreds i seen did this when yeah shut it off it whirrled for about 3-4 seconds.

Is it possibly runnin rich?could be in need of carb adjustments or maybe just a good cleaning,i wouldn't worry too much if it fouls again then i'd check it out,but i know where your comming from i always get worked up over the smallest things when it comes to trikes or even noises in my car..

My 200M does it also, iv narrowed it down to 3 things...either the e-start,,or one of the clutches spinning freely from the engine jus running....JMO
