I just ordered a primary stator, it was pretty cheap so no big deal, but I have been looking at it and it looks simple. Seems like an easy job to rewind it.
Anyone ever try it? I sure don't want to fork out $39 to rickeystator if I don't have to. I wonder how long the $11 one will last.
As for the lighting coil, I have one good one, but have been thinking it might be nice to rewind one of my dead ones to increase the watts for a few bright lights.
Any thoughts?
