I have a question. Are the transmission components the same in a 84-85 ATC 110 and 84-85 ATC 125m? I have several things in the 84 125m that need to be replaced  , such as the HI/LOW gears etc. The motor itself will also need a complete rebuild. I may even opt for a whole different motor if anyone out there has a good one for a decent price. Thanks for all your help in advance.

John

The 125M is different. I know from experience that the tranny is weaker on the 125.

Thank you. The quest for a complete 84-85 125m Motor/tranny goes on. Does anyone know of any good cycle salvage yards that may have one? I 've tried a few here in the northwest and no one seems to be able to come up with one. The latest guy told me to Scrap the bike and go buy another one that runs  I told him no way that is happening. It is a sin to scrap any trike :D :D

Have you found a new tranny yet? And if so do oyu still have the old one? I need a part for a 1984 125m. When you take the hi/lo gearbox off, the main gear that sits on the shaft slips around on the shaft because the clip thing that holds it in place is broken. What is the clip thing called? Where can i get one? Can i make one? And if you are still looking for a motor/tranny try www.vintagemotorsports.net.
