I appreciate all that responded to my question I posted yesterday, but I need responses from people that have the right bars, meaning knurls match up like they are supposed to. Part numbers would be great, but a brand and distributer would be fine.

I did some extensive searching when I was looking for a new set handlebars for my '86 250R, and I believe Renthal's 400EX bend handlebars are the closest match to the original bend. They are aluminum w/crossbar & do not have any knurling at all. You don't need any knurling anyway. If you think about it, knurling actually provides less surface area for the handlebar clamps to make contact with, plus it weakens the handlebars. The part number is #787-01. www.renthal.com

I have the blue CR bend Renthal bars on my '85 250R. They are lower than the stock ATC bars but that is what I wanted.
