Anybody out there know who makes bars for this bike? I have ordered 2 sets from 2 different people and none fit properly, the knurl surface is very wide on the stock tripleclamps. If you have part numbers that would be great. I want a good quality bar, preferrably alluminum with a crossbar, money is no object for my R.

Im running FLY Aluminum CR250 Bars w/ Aluminum crossbar on my 85R. The knurling dosent go to the clamps, but it holds just fine for me. The lower profile looks and feels alot better IMO. HM

Have you tried taking your bars off and going to the shop to try and just match something up?

I've heard buying bars for the 250R is next to impossible if you want the knurling to match up on the clamps. Keep an eye out on the ebay for a set of OEM ones but chances are they will be bent casue most people don't sell their 250R bars unless their bent.

Anybody know if OEM 200X bars will fit on a 250R?

I have the Dominator CR Bend bars and love the lowprofile look and feel. My knurling dose go to the clamps, but not all of it. I ride my trike pretty hard and also like to jump my R and I have had no problems with my bars moving at all.

I had CR bend Renthals on my '85R as I recall and they fit perfect.
