There's a 1985 ATC70 for sale near me. New tires, throttle cable, couple other things. Great shape runs great, one small crack in front fender. He's asking $600. What do you guys think is a good price for this little trike?
thanks

if that was me I would start around 400 and see what he says, but for $600 that seems pretty good.

Are you getting it for your kid? If it were me, and im probably going to get ripped for this, but here goes. I am speaking from experience on this one too. i bought my kids a little atc 70 to try to get them atving and they really did not have that good of a time on it. It was too bumpy and we were constantly working on it. I ended up getting them a little 80cc quad with suspension and it was an automatic so they can concentrate on riding instead of worring about shifting. Look for a little suzuki LT 80 or something. Dinli, Kasea, and Eton make some pretty decent little quads as well that all have excellent suspension. As far as price i bought our little Dinli 90cc 2 stroke quad for $900 and its a 2001 and they got on that thing and love it!!! They are even jumping it now because they've become so much better at riding with the nice suspension and no shifting. Look around and you'll find something like that.

Trikes are great if your a little older or an adult but for a kid starting off i would much rather have them on a little quad.

If I were to get it it'd be for me and i'm 18. I just want to get another trike in the stable, and always thought the 70's were neat little machines

I gotmy daughters for $500 and it was near mint. Was stored for over 15 yrs. Still had the tits on the tires. Looked and ran perfect. $600 is HIGH. I have seen a nice looking one with a 125M motor in it with electric start and a headlight got for that much. Kinda High. Especially with cracks in the plastic.

Well guys, here's one of mine that's currently listed on ebay and I couldn't be more pleased with the bids that are going on right now. It just goes to show you that the condition of a machine determines it's value. :)

The forks are pre-drilled and tapped by the factory but I had to make the mount. It was all pretty simple though. The light itself is off a 1981 ATC 110.

Check out the auction ending price. This little 70 is as clean as they come, but I never counted on this. Unbelievable! :D
