'85 250SX, what's it worth?

I found one locally that runs/rides SUPERB and is in very good shape cosmetically.....standard 19 year old wear, NO abuse.

What a cushy trike, compared to my 350X.
All those "creature comforts" would be sweet for when I didn't feel like rocketing round on my X.

Seller is asking $1000 OBO.
I'm thinking about waiting him out and offering $750 or so in a week.
That's how I got my 350X for $700 (seller was asking $1000 for it, too)....patience.

If its in the condition you say, its worth it. I sold mine for $1200. It was in similar condtion.

1,000 is a good price with something that has reverse,elec. start,shaft drive,and an auto clutch,don't you think??

I almost bought a 250sx last week,but it's not kept inside and i hate when people leave there bikes in the weather,he keeps it in the back of his truck anyways he said $1200 firm at first,needs tires and is in the best shape,it has a twist throttle ,but not really what i wanted right now plus he wouldn't go lower then $1000 so i thought it was high for it's shape...it to was an 85.

Yep, that one sounds like a TURD compared to the one I saw for $1000 OBO.
Makes the one I saw sound like a museum piece. HA HA HA
