atc 90 to a atc 110 swap

Hello. I was wondering if a 1980 atc 110 engine would bolt into a 1974 atc 90, footpegs and all? They both use points as their ignition source so in theory it should work. The mounting points look the same. Correct me if I am wrong. Any help greatly appreciated. Those extra cc's would really benefit me.

Yeah I pretty sure you can use those too. I have a 110 with a 90 motor in it, and I can't tell it isn't a 110. But Vice Vresa.

yep i had the same thing lol. it sorta got annoying. what's the real difference between a 110 and a 90

erm, sorry if i disapoint you, but isnt it like only 1hp difference? Mind you, its one horsey more not less :)
and you'll have the hi/lo box as well

You will need the front engine mount for the 110. If you look at the front engine mount, the 90 will have 1 or 2 holes and the 110 will have the oppositie. Also if you use the 90 carb and intake, you will lose performance. If you have the 110 intake and carb you will be better off. Other than that, everything should bolt up just fine.

And btw bigred ryno, even the 90 has a hi/lo gear box. When i got my 110, it had a ninety in it. And it still had the 110 carb and all. It didn't run well with it. too much gas i think

I bought a new 90 in 1978. The next summer, my brother's buddy gets a 110. The 110 was easy to ride a second gear wheelie, while the 90 would rev out . That 1 hp was noticable on new machines.
A 90 should handle the 110 carb/intake.
