Nice trikes. I see some pride of ownership. Its also nice to see the KLT. When I was 12 my Dad signed me up to be in a Kawasaki commercial and I rode a KX80 but this friend of mine rode the exact KLT as you have. I was jealous.

Cool seeing them side by side.How do they compare with each other? I've ridden the hell out of 185s but never the 160.

Thanks fella's.......83200>>>>.They rate about the same.......though I am kinda fond of the Kawasaki ....she does have reverse. I really hate swapping between them because the Honda shifts all down and the Kawasaki all up. It can be embarrassing to say the least.

Well a couple of years later I sold it to help buy my first car. I could kick myself in the arse for that one. I really like the look of the Kawi. I had a klt110 for my first trike and loved the thing but sold it to get a honda 200s :( . Well I bought another one I just need to go through it. But anyways, where is the lever to put the kawi into reverse? I didn't know the 160 had reverse.

84250r.......What part are you in ??
thefox.....the lever is right above the gear shifter.....if I remember correctly it had a red plastic knob that said reverse. On my first 160 I think it lasted a week before it broke. My current 160 doesn't have it,,only the metal lever. It must have been a poor design on Kawasaki's part.

Just go ask. I've gotten a lot of free and cheap stuff just by asking. Right now I've got my eye on what I think is a Big Red. Its sitting on a trailer and its missing a rear wheel. My wife would be a little upset if I brought home another non-running trike so, I've got to get the first two running before I bring home another. Its amazing how once you get a trike other just seem to come out of the woodwork.
