I don't know how the 225 works but it must be like my automatic SX so it sounds like the centrifical clutch is assembled wrong. If worn out it wouldn't go as the shoes couldn't fly out and grab for initial takeoff. But it sounds like its seized together and not spinning free at idle. Ya don't have it idling way high do you? I've missed your other posts.

If there's one thing weve all learned it's that inexperience will only cost you more in the long run. Slow down, take a break, read the repair manual and ask someone for help that may know a little more about it. If ALL fastners are removed a plastic hammer should seperate it, or something else is holding it.

How are you trying to get it off? I don't know the model - is there another bolt behind another cover, such as an oil screen or filter housing?? Just a nice gentle tap should work OR SMASH THE LIVING HELL OUT OF IT WITH A SLEDGEHAMMER WHILE BEATING SCREWDRIVERS BEHIND IT!!!!! AUUUUUUUUGHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I guarantee it will feel good now but tomorrows a different story.

Post the classifieds, somebody can help you there. I think 84250R has some DX parts. Make sure you gentlty file the marks out of the cover you may have put there prying it off or it'll leak. Alittle silicone in the rough spots will help to, good luck!
