View Full Version : rear bearing stuck on axel,how to get it off

it's a 200es big red 84,the brake hub is loose but the axel and the bearing are rusted together,can i heat it to brake it free,any other options to get it free.I am changing the axel and i can't get the brake hub off,need help...........thanks .........svo58

did you get the snap ring retainer off sv58 ??? ( #27 in the link below )
and if you have and are well past that point ,,, i'd recomend to make up your own puller. it is a pain in the butt but works 99% of the time.
it'll require you to get at least 3 ( 4 works better ) long threaded rods and nuts + washers from the hardware store. then you'll need to get a peice of solid flat stock and drill holes to match the area you'll be pulling from.
