black plastics for 86' atc 250r

does anyone know where i can get black plastics for an 86' honda atc 250r. i found places for everthing except the gas tank.

you can try www.ronnies.com or you could go to the mier fenders website. if you cant find a black tank you could just buy a red one and take it to a body shop and have them shoot it with a plastic gas rezistant paint. Also great place for your first post. Do you have any pics.

Service honda if you want a black tank, they only come in black if they are even available any more.

Dirk, There are a couple of aftermarket Tank makers. I cant remember their names because they didnt do a Tecate tank, but im allmost sure they made tanks for your machine. Cmon people what are those Tank makers? They make alot of Baja Tanks allso.

I think IMS and Clark used to make them but I checked at Clarks site and they don't even show anything for a 85/86 250r.

A local shop showd me where Clark still makes tanks for the R but they were all "Desert" tanks and in Red or White only. I don't think most people want the wider 4gal tank either so kind of puts a damper on it, don't it. :rolleyes:
