I have a few problems and questions that i need to resolve in order to get my pos trike running again.

I went the other day to the bearing shop to repalce all my bearings. I took all my rear end bearings and seals.

- The 2 oil seals in the diff and accompanying bearings
- Brake cam seals
- Left side axel housing bearings and seals
- Rear brake drum housing bearings
- Front hub bearings and seals

The guy said all he could get me was the diff bearings, brake cam seals and the front hub bearings. So i bought them then he said the rest i would have to order from Honda directly. Do you think he is pulling my leg or is it true?

Does anyone have the part numbers for the left side axel housing bearings? I have the schematics but that bearing isnt listed

If anyone has the parts numbers i need to have to order all the rear end bearigns and seals, apart from the pinion gear bearing and the diff bearings that would be much appreciated.

Thanks alot,

Matt

Hey Matt,

I replaced all of my bearings on the 87 also. I went to a local (very large) bearing supply warehouse. They did not have any of the bearings. They said that those bearings were not a standard size bearing. They were made specifically for Honda. This is what they said. He had some that were the same deminsionon the inside (where the axle goes thru), but then the outside would be too small or too big.
