Well I wired it up yesterday and installed the rear brakes, only things left other than installing the plastic are to install the air cleaner, if it ever gets here! and hook up the ebrake. I rolled it out in the sun for the first time today and that candy apple red really changes color. Looks nice.

Motor has 0 hours on it, rebuilt top to bottom. I don't think the DG head adds any power, but sure looks cool on there.

YEA! YEA! That what this piece of junk is for, Anyone ever use this type of tentioner? I'm about ready to toss it in the junk pile. I can't get it to track right. I might have to add a brace in there to hold it better side to side, seems to want to walk on me.

Thanks for the complements guys, I told my daughter last night that she could have my 84 aircooled and I thought she was going to sock me! lol We fired it up today, sounds good. Now we just need to get the tank and plastic and she'll be ready.
Oh does anyone have the ebrake cable holder that bolts to the caliper? I thought I had a good one kicking around here, turns out its froze. I'd really like to have a ebrake on this one.

Well I got the tank back today, I think I like it. I still need a sprocket cover/case saver if anyone has one.

That is the best looking trike I have seen in a long time, should be on a cover of a magazine. Better name her cover girl. Very nice work, I don't think I could bring myself to even ride that in that condition.

Is that tank chrome or PC?

It was Cermachromed, I did my 84 aircooled pipe and silencer. Someone on the board said they had chromed their tank, hmmmm Why not try cermachromed, its held up exellent on my 84 and the finish looks great.
here's a link to the place that did the work, prices are great also. You can send them anything metal and have any finish applied.

Yes it is, its a old durablue, I kinda wish I put it on a lathe like Troll did with his. It shined up nice. The swingarm is a Westcoast plus 4.
Greg, that stainless bolt kit is killer, it was the first set I've bought off Ebay, Stellar Deal!

Are you talking about the little arm that kinda screws in to the caliper? What else do you need for it?

Is your tank dented?

BLAZERONE22
09-05-2004, 02:31 AM
There's a couple real tiny one's, The reflection off the tank makes it hard to take a good pic, the dings are not very noticable.

You're Killing me! That thing is nice! Question though, does the DG pipe come with the brackets so that you can mount the stock pipe guard? Or did you weld the brackets on there?
