Is this 200x a good deal?

There is a 1984 200x in my local paper for sale for 450 bucks and it is in good shape. That is a all this discription says. Tell me what you think.

toyota 200x- where are you located because i live in mt.iron minnesota and i saw in the manneys paper a 200x in good condition for $450 and when my dad called it the guy said it was sold.

I would be jumping on that deal, if it isn;t already gone, i had nearly 30 ppl call about a 250 big red that i sold for 1000 and as soon as the paper came out the first guy called and came as soon as i got home from work, and when i bought my crotch rocket, i bought it at 10 in the morning a guy was comming at 2 and one at 4 if the first guy didn;t buy it, and that was the day the ad came out as well.

Not to be bursting your bubble but i bought a big red once and then like a week later the dam thing blue up. And when we took it a part well everything was just glued on barely any bolts. it was actully kinda funny. And like a year later we bought a tri moto and the atv tag is out and when we run it, it comes up as something else. And like 2 years from that i bought a 200x. And that thing was thrashed. the motor was white and red and every bearing in that thing was almost gone or gone. the swingarm bearings came out in dust. But i restored it and it runs like new now.

Yeah my Dad just bought a 250es. The guy said it had a new motor in it and that nothing was wrong. Well it was smoking when we brought it back, which is kinda odd since the motor was suposed to be rebuilt or *new*. Well anyways we sent it back and it turns out that it had a colapsed piston! :eek: Well we got it fixed for free and we should be running it this weekend.

BTW that 200x is a nice find, BUY IT!

lol well its cool that you got it fixed for free. After we got the big red we called the guy. and well he kinda in a palite way laughed. And the tri moto they moved suspishibly. lol. and the 200x i didnt care it was a steel for 500. It ran fine and still does, But it was just ugly

Sounds like some of you guys have bad luck, I have sold 4 trikes in the last 3 weeks and always write AS IS, WHERE IS on the bill of sale, and if there is anything that is mest or broke i tell them when they come and look at it.
