View Full Version : I use 85w for 250R transmission oil...

will this hurt it? my dad says it doesnt really seem like the right thing to use, but i read that it is on another forum.

also, what could cause this to leak?

Um as far as I remember its suppose to be like 30w motor oil. Not gear oil...

yea...its supoesd to be 10 30 motor oil not gear oil..jeez the only reason that thing is still runnin is becuse its a 2 stroke and it has mixed gas your bottem end is gona be vary worn out

Dont use gear oil....it is death to the clutch.

The Leak, depends on where its at :)

If your bottom end(crank) is worn out from your gear oil then you have bigger problems then you think.
