quiet 200x exhaust?

I've heard of people welding a washer to the end of the exhaust to quiet it down,but I dont know what it would do to the performance of it...

yea id help yea i cant stand only having 4 choices..cobra dg jardine and oem...although i hear the cobra quiet series is good and quiet and the jardine is pretty nice 2 i want more choices..ill help ya build that shop!!! lol home made is best ..i gotta str8 welded to the header right now...about 1 inch round steel from an old hammock frame...nice..lol..it sounds pretyt good actually but its loud so i dont suggest it...if i was u id get the cobra quiet series for it..its about 150 or less vartiak

Hey I like that idea. I wish I had all these different trikes would start making stuff for them. The shop is always open if you want to make the drive to Milwaukee.

If I had your trike I could but when you make a one-off anything you need the machine to fit it right.

I had the one in my signature a long time ago. I loved that trike. I did a lot of motor work to it too. I owned that when I used to work in an ATV shop back in high school. Can you say all parts at cost and machine work for free?

I found that there weren't many choices so i decided to make my own system...sounds sweet and gave me more power :Bounce

thinking of it. a guy a couple blocks down had a really quit pipe on his 200x lol it looked like a freaking car muffler. (i think it was one) well anyways just wanted to let you know.

heres some pics...this is my auto x with the custom muffler I welded on to it along with some water piping to connect it up,yes I could have done alot better job with it but the fender already had a small crack on that side so I didint mind cutting it a bit.and yes it gets very hot(found out the hard way burning my leg pretty badily :Evil )I need to build a custom heat guard,what do you think?I know this isnt a 200x engine but it does have enough power(modded)and this could be done to a 200x easily since the 200 and 200X use almost the same header.with this system it sounds like a piped 400ex and runs better then having just a headpipe(tryed it out)and for $40 bucks you cant beat that.this is my auto x all cleaned up with my new stickers and custom painted tank and fenders.p.s check out the killer stang beside my x :D fast! the first 2 pics are older ones but the last 2 are new ones and show my maier super scoops and new stickers.
