530 bucks for 200x motor like new?

is a completly rebuild 85 200x motor worth 529bucks and my motor? i founf this guy that has been working on them for as long as they have been around. he says they put in a diff spring in the kicker so it wont go bad or soemthing, they rebuild the whole thing, crank, top end, carb, bottom end, EVERYTHING. is it worth 530 bucks? or is it worth 450 or so for them to do this to mine(that price is with me providing the piston kit)??????? let me no. he says they will rund like they are jsut out of the box. he says he worked on the motors when they first came out(he says he would hop them them!!) and he could build a performance motor too. didnt ask for price. he also said honda dealers will charge 1000+ to do a complete rebuild and that the kids doin them dont no trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro(his words). i dono if it is worth it let me no.

I would get an exact list of what he will do for the money........especially if you are supplying the piston kit.........what is he supplying???

thats what i was thinking, if you pay him $450 and then you buy the piston kit thats actuall gonna be more than what hes charging you to do it all hiself. all in all sounds kinda high to me.

that's insane. i rebuilt mine for the cost of the piston kit, and a new cam and bearing, and valve seals, and a bore job. do u REALLY need the crank rebuilt?
