I would pull that off there and buy a big red or 200s if you need to pull things around

Let me guess, the auction also said that the 350x needs a clutch.

I don't like how it's pulling on the rear part of the frame. I made nice one for my 400ex so I know a better one could be made for a 350x

good idea but I think that a big red would be better for towing...

Tough croud, it's not like your hualing backhoes to job sites with these things. I personaly just use it to take the little trash trailer to the road. I'm not buying another machine just for that.

It looks like he went a little overboard but hey, if it works then why not. I would have made it so it didn't also work my rear shock though. I like the looks of yours OldSchoolin86.

But, just look at that 350x GOOD LORD that thing looks heavy enough to haul backhoes. :D

LMFAO! That would require walking.

Is it the WEIGHT of the hitch making the rear of the bike sag like that?
Jeez. It looks like a heavy hitch.
That's why you're supposed to put a hitch on the swingarm, right?
You put a trailer on the pictured hitch and the bike will do an immediate wheelie!
Or blow the shock out. :p

Great post....brought out a lot of good responses. :D

Here is a 350X with a hitch being used to bring some firewood from the beach back to camp. I do not think any other trike would be able to get from this spot throught the trees, over the three dunes, and into camp with this load.

Any utility trike could tow that load, especially the 250es. They are tanks. Although a 350x probably has alot of grunt the 250es would be better....on the performance side of things the 350x wins hands down.

:D

The old 250ES is a tractor with balloon tires! :D

I remember those old trikes back when they were new.
Saw them in the showrooms around the time I bought my '84 200S brand new.
Ahh....memories.

My 350X sure has a DEEP first gear so I imagine folks put hitches on them! :)
I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it, though.

I think the thing you guys are missing is the three dunes you have to cross. we are talking about soft sand. The only way to make it across is with a lot of speed and power. I own three 250sx's and they would be stuck in a min trying to pull this off.

Come on down to SpinReel in a couple of weeks, and we can demonstrate what I am talking about.
