thanks a lot but how are you supposed to check it again?you adjust it with that nut on the top right?i have the feelr gauge and stuff already

yes ,,, the adjusting nut on top of the valve stem.
but first you hafta have the motor at top dead center of the compression stroke.
on the right side of the side case you have 2 removable caps ,,, take both out.
using the nut on the crank shaft ( biggest hole ) you will be able to rotate the motor CLOCKWISE untill you are able to line up the "T" marking on the rotor.
( there is another marking next to it so be sure to get the right one - T )
normally if you have the T mark lined up and are at T.D.C. on the compression stroke ,,, you will be able to wiggle both valves a little. if one is tight , you will need to rotate the engine 360 degree.
adjust away.
it's kinda rough to do with flat feeler gauges and still a challenge to do with the set i bought that has the curved ends on them. but doable with a little effort.
i also want to add that it is highly advisable to make sure the timing is corect before adjusting the valves and that the valve adjustment is done with the motor cooled down.

good luck ,,,, john
