More or less thinking in print.. haha..I have noticed a few things lately.

1) Atv's aren't cheap

2) I have a manco three wheeler less engine, has front and rear disc brakes.

3) Seems honda motor/crankcases are available all over ebay.

4) Noticed the larger cc honda engine/crankcases are simillar to the 70 cc engine/crankcase, I have, only physically larger.

So now I can either install a horizontal shaft 8 hp engine with a belt drive to the rear sprocket, which the manco originally used or get creative and use a reliable honda engine with 4 forward gears. Seems the only issue would be aligning the rear sprocket to the engine/crankcase. The manco axle sprocket is on the right and the honda motor on the left. All honesty that doesn't concern me, surely the sprocket could be moved or possibly reverse the axle. I can tell the foot peg setup on the manco would need to be modified so the honda shifter would have room to move or modify a shifter, not really an issue. Has anyone done anything simillar to this? Looking for problems that might arise that I am overlooking. Anyone have a running good condition engine/crankcase they would like to get rid of? I would like to know what they go for in the real world..ebay can be misleading sometimes. Thanks

those manco trikes fly with the 8 horse and you can buy a new 6.5hp for $129.99 http://www.harborfreight.com/engines-generators/gas-engines/65-hp-horizontal-shaft-overhead-valve-gas-engine-66015.html seems a more feasible route to go
