this will be my first tecate so i have a few ? i assume almost everything 84-85 interchange.

also what is the approx H.P. and top speed of a stock 85 T-3?

84-85 you can swap. I dont know the hp or top speed but there fast enough for me. :beer

There's a few differences between the 84 & 85. Front brakes are different, rear linkage and shock is a little different. And a few other non-obvious differences.

I recommend getting a service manual. Make sure it's the 84 base manual with the 85 supplement chapter. Ebay is your best bet for one.
