Did I Overpay

I just bought a near mint 1981 ATC70 for $350. Starts and runs great....did I overpay? He had it at $450 originally

The most I ever paid for a Trike was my Scrambler which was $550...besides that even my ATC200 was the most at $300. I just wanted to make sure I was'nt out of my gourd. I'll post pics tomorrow and we'll see .

last spring I picked up an 84 atc 70 w/ engine disassembled but mostly there. 3 new tires and a couple top end parts and still have less than 150$ in it. 350 seems fair for a sweet one... farmer mike

hmmmm...i don't know. it's an '81, so it only has three speeds. mine's an '82, and that's the first year they made the transmission a 4-speed. i paid $150 for mine, but then again, i stuck another $250 into it just to get it into good condition. of course, that comes to $400, which is $50 more than what you paid for yours, but having that extra gear is really nice.

ahhhh nice bike i bet that smile under the helmet was worth more than what you paid for the trike eh?

no doubt it was worth it.....Imagine how hard it was for me to talk the seller down from $450 when my son was sitting on it and making engine noises.

Good looking bike for a good price. Looking at the pic. I see the front fender isn't near the head which probably means the frame is straight. I think you got a good deal.
