I've been looking for a rear shock for this machine but cannot find one. What other shock will fit on this. So far I have compared to an 84 250r, no go. An 84 200x, no go, too short. An 86 350x, right length but the wrong connector, the 200x has male connectors at both ends and the 350x has a male and female. Let me know, I have the old one off and I want to ride, hehe.

If it's just worn out and not bent or broke you can probably get it rebuilt. I got my shock done by Works Performance. I'm not sure if the 200X shock is rebuildable but I would bet that it is.

How much did it cost you to rebuild it, I checked for a 350x rebuild once and almost cried when I found out how muc it cost. Let me know. Thanks

I got the "Heart Transplant" where they put their own valving system in place of the stock one. They also change the oil and valve it to your weight and riding style. The cost then('94 I think) was $150. I think it's gone up a little since then. It was well worth the money spent.

call HYGEAR motorsports in Ithaca, NY. the guys name is Russ, he used to race enduro with Steve Hatch team Suzuki, an old high school buddy. Tell him Matt sent you, he will rebuild it NP, all he does is suspension work.
