View Full Version : xr200 bottom end in 200x?

ok if i put a xr200 bottom end what will i gain? also if i put an xr200 cam into my 200x will that make a difference?

probably nothing...i would say it they are both 1:1

The cam is supposed to help top end alot. The bottom end you would gain a 6 speed instead of 5. The six speed would "close the gap between the gears and increase the spread between first and sixth, providing a gear for everything from tight trails to flat out screaming"(quote from an article from 3 and 4 wheel action).

the atc motor is derived from the XR so yeah

a xr 200 carb will give you more power too

ya the carb will but i can get a brand new cam for 74 bucks (the stock one that is)]

yes if you use the xr bottom end then the kick will be backwards but you can use the 200x gears to correct the problem.

wouldn't it be easier to buy a complete xr 200 engine and put it in?

yes...but it will be cheaper to just get the bottom end
