I know some of you guys used to race. How can i lower my rear end so the front sits higher than the back like a flat track racer? My friend and I did it last night but i had to take the shock off to put the rest of the bolts on and now it isnt as low. We tightened the spring and it made it lower and i had to loosend it half a turn to get the mounting holes straight. Any suggestions would help alot weve tried everything we can think of.

RIght now i got a set of stock 22's on it the provector tires. I plan on switching to a 19 or 20 inch tire for the winter to ice race. But what i want to do it lower the shock setting.

you could probably modify the shock mount. just relocate the pivot point to a lower position.

in the pic. they are running smaller tires. and probly use the stiff mount that replaces the shock. for flat tracking. can't remember the name of the part.

You simply use a shorter shock, or a dummy shock which is what dads is talking about. A strait metal piece in place of the shock. This way, its also easy to change back if your not strictly using it for flat track racing. The temporary fix for flat tracking is to simply strap it down, and then take it off when your done. If you are not flat track racing, and just want it higher in the front and lower in the back for general riding without sacrificing suspension which is not necessary on flat track, then you go with a taller front and/or lower rear tires.

What do you want to lower it for, 200x's sit low enough with 18 inch tires. Get yourself a pair of 250sx rims and a cheap pair of lawnmower tires or 18 inch Kenda Scorpions. The 250sx rims are more offset. You should gain around 3 or 4 inchs in width. With the trike being lower and wider, youll have great sliding ability.

In the pic my brother has the stock 200x rims on it, but with the SX rims sliding ability would be increased even more. Since those pics we've put a 350x front end on it.

I kinda get what you guys are sayin ill go get another shock mount from a guy in town and ill rake it or somethin. The reason i want it lower is i like the look and i race on the ice in the winter and gravel pits in the summer or we have an old rail road grade that we drag race on.

Your going to have to go with lower profile tires when you lower it. Other wise the fenders will hit the fenders. I think you ought to try the low tires first.
