coolant question

what is the type of coolant used for the 85z and what is the water to coolant ratio? thanks.

I run standard automotive antifreeze at about 50:50 in my Z's.

I like to run a 70 antifreeze to 30 water mix ratio, according to the bottle that has a higher boiling rate and I can use all the protection I can get in 110 degree weather ;) I just use regular ol WalMart antifreeze.

I run distilled water mixed with water wetter in the summer, keeps the R a little cooler than antifreeze does. Winter is a 50/50 mix with antifreeze and distilled water.

After changing your coolant put some Water Wetter Super Coolant in with it. I put a bottle in my Z and it runs cooler. You can buy it at places like autozone for like $7.00.
