Not sure if you guys have seen this before, just came across it on Offroad Havens webpage. One of their readers own it. Heres the details:

My name is Matti, I'm from Finland.
I have this old 200x whit yamaha TZR125 engine and all that comes whit it: exhaust, electronics... etc.
The engine was chanced because 3wheelers are so rare in Finland that you cant find spare parts anywhere, and
It has 27Hp and it's top speed in about 130Km/h (~80m/h).
I attached few pictures.

I rode a RM 125 2 stroke about 3 days ago and i had it going as fast as it would go and the 125 wont go that fast maybe 70 but not 80. But after i did that i rode a wheelie and the power band kicked in and i broke my colar bone so i cant ride anything for awhile. But they wont do 80.

Won't do 80? Of couse it can do 80! Open your minds a little and put a different gear in. It can be done.

It might do 80. The TZR is a road race bike. I did a quick search on the web and found a web site that lists the max speed of every Yamaha motorcyce. The TZR varies from year to year but is always around 174 km/h. That works out to about 108 mph.

Granted that the trike chassis is much heavier than the TZR counterpart, and has much more rolling resistance, but with some smooth ground it might really boogie.

thats too sweet, would be nice to do with a cr 125 or the ktm125 which is supposed to have a monster of a motor. and with all the aftermarket to work with it would be sick

You people are ignorant comparing engine displacement to top speed.....

The TZR is a Grand Prix RACE bike. Maybe 80 MPH may be a little optimistic, but a 27 hp 125 motor is real nice. I bet that thing rocks. I believe it really FEELS like 80!!

hey, think they'll ever figure out final gear ratio?? top speed=rpm, tire size, final gear ratio??
