shadrack do you know if you can get your tire in a 22x11x10 size?
Yes they are Mudlites,I wouldn't put any other tire on me machine. These tires throw stuff like 40' in the air.My friend can't get to close or he will be eating all sorts of stuff. They are 22 11 8.$250 for all three. These tires are rated at 6 ply as well.

No I don't see that size in the design i got from Dennis Kirk. here's the link to the ones I got. http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catalog/Product.jsp;jsessionid=I4MQZM0B2GDC1LA0WTISM4VMDK0 NCIV0?catId=108&leafCatId=10802&skuId=540706
I ordered mine from Parts America, from the Yamaha dealer down the street.
Lets see more of those pics?Come on people these machines dont get enough respect.

Your trike looks great! Are those renthal handle bars? What bend did you use and how do you like them?
Heres mine. Bad pic. I'll see if I can get better then.
I'm going to be boring it up to 230cc, replacing the valves and timeing chain, doing a very mild port job on the head, more or less just to clean it up. I'm also thinking about putting a TTR225 carb on it and then maybe later if I get a TTR225 donor motor, swaping the clutch out of it to make my trike a manual.
Also. Have you been into the differental on your trike? Mines starting to whine a little so I'm sure I need to get it checked out soon but I'm not sure if I should attempt this on my own.
How do you like that cobra exhuast? Did you need to rejet?
My other only thing I'm thinking about doing is converting the decompression lever over to a hotstart like setup on the handlebars like the newer fourstroke dirtbikes. I think that would be great. Let me know what you think.

Why worry about the drcompression lever, just use the electrice start! If you do want something different, the 200 chain drive has an auto decompression lever. It has a cable go to the pull start where there is an extra spring and gear. The best part is the parts are interchangable. Personaly I think the decompression levers are more hassle then they are worth.

Well, here is the latest picture of mine. With any luck it will be finished when I go home for Thanksgiving break. I still need a few parts and the cylinder that will be used goes in to be bored next week. I still haven't figured out what I am going to do about decals.

Thank you for posting the pic of the black 225...I started getting a little teary-eyed...I saved and saved, bought one...stolen the next day...found out years later that my prick of a father had swiped it, and sold it to some schmuck on one of his used car lots....my stepmother at the time saw him do it, but said nothing to me until a couple of years ago, AFTER he croaked, she didn't want me to get mad at him and call the police.....seeing as how her standard of living would be affected....
Anyway, thanks for posting it.
Additionally, I had a 125 tri-moto a couple of years before that one...I darn near got severely injured on it......I was riding it at full speed toward an uphill road...a road grader cut directly across the road, straight across, and left a 6" ridge......I got the front tire up, but the rear tires hit it, and launched the back of the 125 up into the air, it threw me off of the bike.....two weeks later, my brother was riding it, and the front tire was low...even after I warned him to slow through a washed out road section, he flew through there at full speed, the low front tire popped straight up into the air, his left foot came off of the peg, and his left foot got sucked under the left rear tire. I have never seen anyone get pulled off of a trike that quickly...lol...that accident required a hospital visit. My mother sold that bike the next day.
Does it run?If it does ,thats all that matters
Well people what are you waiting for .Lets see those pics

I really love those Yamis, man I had a beautiful black one bay in the day, unfortanutly sold it and got a 250sx. You really don't see them around too much anymore. I've got a 200x now, I would trade it in a minute for a blue or black Yami.

You guys need to come to Canada or Newfoundland to be more precise. Most of the trikes around here are Yamahaulers, 200's or 225's. Parts are like dirt cheap, I want a nice YT125/175 or 200 chain to supe up.
Big used parts dealer up there?

I've posted this pic before, but here's me on my 175 shortly after I bought it - probably taken in September or October of 1982. Sorry the picture is so blurry but it was taken with a cheezy 110 camera. I'd love to have that trike back...
That is a very nice vintage picture.

Thanks, guys! Those were fun times. I'm surprised by buddy Doug wasn't in the picture on his Honda 185s. We rode every day.
That picture was taken in an area called "Pine Bluff" which was a hilly area with several abandoned farms, all owned by one extended family that just let them go to heck. All the roads between them were dirt and the only people around were goofballs like us. We drank lots of beer up there too. :D
Hey Huffa,post some pics.
