Did have! Mine was alot cleaner than both of those 2, mine had original everything. I listed it on ebay and my pic host was messed up that week, half of my pics didn't work but it still did fairly well. I ended up selling it to a guy after the auction. Its still in Michigan somewhere.

Just out of curiosity....what possesses someone to buy a trike and store it for 20 years without riding it?.....I'm not being a jerk, I'm just curious as to the reasons people do it. I've seen it a few times.

My theory: they bought them because thats what was there during the time. Then perhaps they got scared by the 3 wheeler itself or got scared of all the bad publicity that came along and quite riding them and didn't sell them because they thought others might get hurt and they would be responsible for it. Or perhaps got tired of them and time slipped away.

Did the Tri-z come stock with yellow grips?

The guy I bought it from had 3 of these, 2 were in mint condition and one he rode alot but it still looked great. He also has an older corvette that has less than 2000 miles on it that was stored in the same barn along with some other goodies.

If I had a place to hang it I would buy it and ride it on occassion. I guess it falls into the same catagory as me with my 70 Challenger T/A. It sits in the garage and when I need an adreniline rush I'll take it out and open up the 3 2 barrell (six pack) Hollies. Then I'll put it back into the garage until next time. 1, 2, 6months later then I'll drive it again. Theres nothing like the rush from a 2 stroke power band too. When I need a "hit", I'll take out one of my rides. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". I guess you heard that before. If you want a beater full of mud and bent up, and you like the look of that ride, thats fine. But if you want a vintage specimin piece (like a piece of art) to ride and look at that ride, thats "FINE" too.
