has anyone here tried it on there tri-z yet??im sending mine to lc performance(who ported my drag shee)on monday to get it lighted for faster revs, and hopefully better performance,i run a p.l.v. in the shee, which has no real flywheel ,so id like an idea if you will notice it like a p.v.l. setup, or will it be a waste of $35,nathan

You don't really have much engine braking on a two-stroke anyway so I can't see what it would hurt. All you have to gain is faster revs. When they lighten it I am sure they will balence it so it may make the engine a little smoother.

You will notice a big difference. I ran an CR on my R, and it made a world of difference. The one on my 85 Tri-Z is about the size of a pill bottle, and that sucker really wraps out. I wish I could find more info on it. The brand is either "tryke" or "trike". Its weird looking... all made out of aluminum.

There was a guy on here that said a YZ60? would work to... that Dozer guy, what ever happened to him.

it may rev up quicker but correct me if im wrong, wont it bog down easier seeing how the flywheel also provides inertia to help keep the engine turning

I'm guessing Orangeshee is going to be using this for Dragging his Tri-z, so I think the lower rpm bogging will not be a problem.
