I have a yamaha yt175 and I have done just about everything i know how to do to it and it still wont start. I cleaned the carb and made sure the cylinder was in operating condition. It gets good spark and the air is free flowing. It gets gas and all the little hoses are clean. It has good compression and wants to start but just wont go. I dont know what else to do if anyone has any suggestions please speak your mind.

I suggest cleaning the carb again. Tear it apart and let it soak in carb cleaner then blow out all the passages with compressed air. What psi is your compression?

make sure theres not a short in the kill switch somwhere ,could be a loose wire somewhere..

Try pull starting it with a tow strap and another vehicle.

Actually I kinda feel a bit stupid when i cleaned the carb last time i put the throttle thing in backwards. yeah so i flipped it around and it still wouldnt start. So we tied it to 4 wheeler and it started after it warmed up it started on every pull. Then some foreign object broke of something and carved the crap out of the piston and cylinder and then jammed in the crank somwhere. So now it wont even start again so i have to buy a new lower end and cylinder.
