I WOULD LIKE YOR OPINION.
I am producing a new type of 3 wheeler using front trailing arms with 7 " of travel. Engines from 160cc hp to V-Twin 650 even with blower.
The current test machine has warrior fenders and seat . The finished version will use my own style maybe simular and with a stainless steel gas tank.
Thanks Kevin

Thanks for the tip Mobular - I didn't see the preview. Can I change my vote to NO?
As for the question "would I like a new 3 wheeler?" the answer, like most of ours, is YES. Until some small company with the stones to ignore the Consumer Product Stupidity Commission starts to make them, however, we won't have that.

no a trailing arm is like on the rear of a sand rail it starts forward of the wheel the tire tracks on the bottom of tread the wheel does not swing in a ark. ( side to side ark )

this design is legal . and is as stable to turn as a regular steering with 2 wheels up front. As well as enableing the rider to controll simular to riding a dirt bike.

I've seen a Raptor that has something like that. And it did work.
They way you described it, and maybe i'm just tired, it sounded like you were going to make a 3-wheeler that didn't have a triple tree in front but a a-arm setup. :) Anyway, it can be done if you do it right and take your time. Keep us posted. :)

The smaller ones will be intended to use 206cc hp 4 stroke and a over drive for higher
speeds . Giving them a strong low range for climbing.
The over drive is lever active and I hope to bring it to market with exceptioal performance and priced at about $1950.00 to keep the chinese out .
The 400 cc I estimate at $2200.00 w/overdrive
And a full race engine v-twin at about $4500.00 I hope , I have not yet used this engine but it is in Bandolero cars, truck puuls and motorcycles. I believe it will do very well.
Thanks Kevin

I see no sense in wasting time and energy on this project. Just my opinion. I can't imagine that anyone would want to buy one. If you wanted one drive wheel you would buy a dirtbike. What are the up sides of this design?
The popularity of the normal three wheeler was and is power to weight ratio, which you may have, but there are already traction limitations with 2 driving wheels.
Then there's the fact of the roost covering your back everytime you ride it, and potential for rocks to nail you, seeing as how you have no real fender coverage.
I think that you're obviously a vary talented individual, spend your time more constructively building us kits to convert the newer quads to a true three wheeler, with forks! A nice cut and bolt aftermarket kit for a Banshee or Raptor or 450R might be the cats ass.

Build me one for my atc 250r that way I can have the option of changing it into a fat cat missile 250R (big wheel dirtbike) or the regular ATC 250R.

Well this is a proto and the seat fender combos range from a tire showing saddle seat
like on street choppers to fenders going near the groung.
Not only are they very powerful in one wheel drive but they are fun to ride and the body involvement does get more like a dirt bike.
They are a plus to use in utility where the person is on and off constantly. And when a second person is envolved they can be seated comfortably.
They are a bit easier to handle when traversing hills. And after seeing some of my email many are working with this design even intrest with the big boys.
I personally came from the age of scrambler and street bikes . And really while I dont have as many years with atv or atc. I just know they are all over my home town . about 2 per household unless the people are jeriatrick and some of them own atvs.
The Mayor has 3 3 wheelers in his drive way and his kids read meters on them.( We drive them in the streets the feilds , to the store etc)
Thanks for your imput, Mr Adams

Well Our Voting Population Is About 500 And A Farming Town . Most Everyone That Farms Here Has A Real Job To Support There Farm Some Not .
Yes We Ride Them To Soccer Games Etc . The Sherrif Deputies Are Contracted To Patrol Here And They Understand Whats Up. The Boy Next Door Gets Picked Up All The Time And Escorted Home And Told To Wear His Helmet. That Is About It . 5 Miles Away Where The Town Is 6 OR 8 Times Bigger They Dont Allow Such Things .
Kevin
Remember Atvs Were Developed First For Farmers And The Law Grandfathered Them To Be Legal For Farm Work Including To And From Fields. Just Like Tractors. (not Exactly The Same)
