the killswitch on my 81 185s doesn't work. i've checked the connections, but i really don't care if it works or not. anyway, can anyone reccomend the best way to cut it off, i don't want to choke it because i only have two extra spark plugs and three 3-wheelers and don't want to get any from dennis kirk unless i need something else.
what do you guys think about using a toggle switch???
get a nice looking one. i just have to make the green and black wires touch together to kill it right??
thanks

might not be the switch itself...

You should beable to ground 1 of the wires that goes to the coil when you want to kill it.
You should also buy your spark plugs at your local auto parts store they are probably under half price of DK after you pay shipping.

Use the decompression lever to kill it. That will work.

pull the sparkplug cap off or get a new kill switch :TrikesOwn

scratch those ideas. pulling the spark plug cap off is not the thing to do, you get the sh!t zapped out of you. I'd know. And the only reason a kill switch would go out is due to heavy duty corrosion, so replacing it won't do jack.
