If you can even get them, what does a new carb for a 350X run? And where would I find them.
Mine is all jacked up....some bolts stripped, the choke lever is all mangled, etc. Thats how I got it. I have been looking for a used one, but some want what seems an arm and leg for a used one. Just curious what I could get a brand new one for.
Thanks!

Well, here's what you do.
Go find a nice chair, sit yourself down nice and comfy-like.
A quick check at Partsfish shows a complete carb for an 85 350X at $300! Service Honda list it for $205.
You may want to rethink buying a good used unit.

Or you can get a White Brothers Carb made for the 350x for around $180.....36mm, too.

Just came back from the DG hard chrome site a 38mm 350X carb kit with all mounting hardware, gas lines and a throttle cable for the SRP (suggested retail price) $214.95 I had planned on getting it for my 350X project when I finish the 86 250SX along with a hard chrome exhaust.

best thing to do is buy a used 4ooex carb. it will fit, but it will be tight. some minor jetting changes and it will actually make more power and be more responsive.
