the correct spanish way to say it is teh-cah-teh, theres been a couple threads about this before.

Well, in my town, people just say tecate: Tee-kate
And for bassani : bass - ah - ni

I don't know if these are the correct spellings, but...I hope we're right! :)

I believe that the name comes from the area near baja with the same name. The locals pronounce it Te-ka-tae. I have been in may places that pronounce it that way (south of the U.S. border).
