My 110 will need a new piston and bore job in the next few months. I am trying to sqeeze the most power out of it as I can, without spending alot of money. My question is, will a 1984 125m piston fit the 110 head? I know that I will have to bore the head for the piston to fit, but will it fit the rod? Greenhuman, got any thoughts on this? thanx

I would think that you could bore it or at least swap the heads. I had a 110 with a 125 opiston that I found when I went to replace the rings and the 110's didn't fit...

Its never been rebuilt, so it probably needs to be rebuilt. I figured while I have it apart I would put a 125m piston in. I don't wanna swap heads. So the 125m piston will mount right up right? thanx

the cylinders are different so just bore the stock won to the max

I don't wanna swap heads. I want to get a 125m piston, bore the 110 head, and put the 125 piston in.

since the engine has never been rebuilt then it will only need to be bored .020 over, there is no since in boring it to the max because you will not notice the power gain(very little) and next time you will not have anything left to bore...
