I think you can order stiffer rear coil springs for your rear shock.

You would have to check into that.

Not sure about your front forks, maybe stiffer springs in those too.

install some PVC spacers in the fork tubes

yea, and find a thick spacer for your shock, like a 1" spacer, or if you know someone with a lathe, make one

Call Ron Baker at P.E.P. suspension. Ron used to do the suspension for Jimmy White and most of Team Green back in the 80's. 909-590-4111.

service the forks first and use heavier oild and set the level a bit higher than stock...that firms the front up a lot, second make sure the rear shock is not blown first, does it bounce up and down,,, assuming it is good, service it...add heavier oil to it and again it will firm it up a whole lot...sounds like they are whooped to start with. I weigh 250 with my gear and I pummel the thing and I don't have these issuses...i service my suspension regularly and use heavier oil in the shock and fork with a higher level. try that first, it is cheap

I agree with Nick. I used to road race sport bikes and road one year with heavier oil in and road another year with a custom made shock for me(started doing good to get sponsor). I really couldnt tell that much difference in the 2 shocks other than the custom made was very pricey to purchase.

Not sure if they make them for Tecate, but I put aftermarket Progressive Springs in my 350X front forks and went to the heavier weight oil. Talk about some differences! I'm 6'4" and around 250lbs... front suspension is much better now!

suspension fluid generally comes in weights from 5-20. I use 10 or 15 weight in the forks and 10 in the shock...but you can mix it in equal parts to come up with a custom weight...1 part 15 to 1 part 10 makes 12.5 weight and so on, remamber the fork level should be measured with no springs and tubes collapsed(you should run the travel thru a few times to bleed them before measuring the level) or you can just add according to ml (as per maual) i prefer the height, also remember the fors are not air forks, the valves are for releasing the air, not adding(that will blow the seals). the shock is not really adjustable via oil level...but you can use more by moving the resivoir piston towards the bladder and adding extra pressure to the bladder(also effects the damping and rebound). i bet your shock is bad and your forks are blown out

progressive springs for 79 bucks and a heavier oil should work well
