Found another 250r to add to the collection

Bought this one this morning, the guy even delivered it for me. Needs some work but it runs great. The rear caliper and foot pedal are missing, needs fork seals, headlight is gone. I did get another set of tires for it, haulers for the rear and a sand front all new, never mounted.

Thanks guys. atc crazy good deals are out there don't give up looking. My last 3 trikes have found me, I put the word out that I'm looking for 250r's and now all my friends and co workers keep an eye out for them for me. I have never paid more than $1000 for any of my bikes either so deals are out there to be had.

Great R but I would re-paint the swing arm white. That black paint makes it look cheasey.

jack(atv nut)... is also into collecting the 250r.. i only have 5 of them.. and done, unless i catch a great deal.. but i traded jack 1 or 2 in the past... your keeping up w him very good!!

Only two are in running condition, this one and another one I bought from a forum member. Two are in restoration form in my basment awaiting chrome to come back, and the other two are being or have been dismantled and in those plastic totes stored in my basement. I have a small garage, 24' x 24' so not alot of room to have parts laying around, thats why they go to the basement. I have a small area I use in the basement to assemble them, once they are done I will have to put them in the garage and leave the car outside. I do plan to restore each one in a different way and different color but I'm not going to do them until I have the two in the basement done first. Trying to restore two at the same time has been a little difficult so I have only been concentrating on the first one. I am still missing one motor but I plan to do a cr500 motor in one of these projects as soon as I find one. Heres a couple pics.
