Hi umm.. how can i get my 1985 yamaha 200 to go faster then it does now it does about 40 - 50 mph but i got the need for speed, help plz

hay. you could start by get it bored out and blueprinted, aftermarket exhaust, take of fthe airbox and get a new K&N air filter, change your sprockets, smaller tyres

you would want bigger not smaller tires

Yes, bigger tires will make you go faster. If your 200 is the chain model, you can put smaller tires on it, and compensate for them with the sprockets. The less rotating mass will make you accelerate faster, and possibly go faster, but only if you change the gearing. I bet you have the shaft model, so you can only put larger tires...

Ok, then, get a larger front sprocket and/or a smaller rear sproket.
