my dads friend has a big red 200 i think 84 for sale for $100 but the only thing wrong with it is the pullstart is broke but u can still bump start it im thinkin buy it drive it fix it sell it

a big red is decently fast for its size and goes great in the mud since it has no chain to get caught up

My brother-in-law has an 85 which is a 250cc and I ride it all the time, so I can give you my perspective. I won't trade it for my Tri-Z, but I like it a lot ;)

Big Reds aren't real fast compared to sport trikes but they'll probably do around 50 on a dirt road. (I've never really opened it up, to tell the truth.) The magic of Big Reds is, however, how slowly you can go and what you can go through! We regularly ride it through marshes, across floating bogs, and through really slimy mud and it just keeps on going.

With the stock exhaust they're virtually silent so you can ride all over and nobody seems to care. They run forever on a tank of gas so they're really cheap to operate AND they are completely indestructible.

For that price I'd snap it up.
