200x supertrapp exhaust

I'm getting a used supertrapp exhaust for a 200x, the guy doesn't know what year X it's off of, I'm guessing 83-85 since they're the most common, but if it is off an 86 will it work on an 83-85 or is it too different? does anybody know??

The engines on the 83-85 are totally different from the 86-87 engines.
