as the owner of a 200x that runs perpetually rich and has for over a year no matter what I've done to it, I can't tell you what will fix it but here are some things to try. First of all, is the plug coated with dry soot, or does it have any oil at all on it. If it has any oil, it's probably time for rings or valve seals etc. If it's dry like mine is try taking apart the carb and inspecting it, clean it and make sure nothing has been drilled out and that the proper size jets are in it, might buy a 15 dollar rebuild kit for it too, check the float level and the airscrew see if the clip is set too rich as well on the needle. Check the air filter and make sure it's not dirty or clogged, check the valve lash, and the timing try taking the airbox lid off, make sure the muffler is not clogged, I improved mine by doing all these things and by running a one step hotter plug, but it still blows the soot out, maybe yours will be easier to diagnose and fix...good luck
