could u guys please tell me how a torque wrench works? i have on i borrowed but it has the square end for a bolt but my screws r alan bolts how do i change it? thanks please reply ;)

Near the handle, there should be this little guage thing. As you give it torque, the handle bends, and the pointer stays still. As you torque it more, the more the guage reads, and the more lb's or torque. I have a set of adapters that change that 1/2 inch socket adapter to hex, so thats what I use. You could try to rig something up that can work.

Go to a parts store and look for the allen type sockets.

on mine, you set it on the amount of torque you want by turning a thing on the handle. then tighten it until it clicks 2 times (they will be right close together).

they make a tool that has a square on one end and an allen on the other. i can get you some pictures of one in a little bit.
