Whats up everyone? As some of you may seen I posted a thread just the other day about my 500r that I bought out in San Diego.

I need to rebuild the forks and need to get the right seals for them. I have been told 350x front forks or maybe the CR500 forks. They could also be the tecate forks since a lot of the parts on the bike are from a tecate.

You guys recognize these? The dust boots say Gator on them if that helps.

i dont know what they are but they arent 350x forks because they dont the wavy things that let air run thru and cool down the caliper

Don't look 350X to me.... I'd say they are HONDA, but not like my 85 nor 86 350X in the way the calipar bolts on or the brake rotor. Also, the top of the lower fork doesn't look like that.

I am 99.9% sure they are mid 80's CR500. Get a metric measuring caliper and find out the diameter, that'll narrow it down alot.

Yes, I agree with Billy. They should be mid 80's CR500. More than likely the same year as whatever the year of the frame is, since it's a converted CR500 Dirt Bike. Check the VIN.
