K or L

How can I knoe if my Yamaha YTM-200 1983 is a K or a L model? Thank

Not much difference between the 83 and 84 models..... the K = 1983, L = 1984, N = 1985 in Yamaha Lingo.....

Example..... YTM200ERN E-Electric, R-Reverse N-1985.

So.... if you are sure it's a 1983, then it is a K. If it's a shaft drive/ electric start, would be a YTM200EK.

Well... I just learned it from the guys here.... I was clueless about it when I got mine!
