Bike in question is an 84 Yamahauler, and the tires that are currently on it are the stock 25x12x9's. I am looking for a little more clearance, so I was wondering if anyone tried putting taller tires on the rear and if so how they fit?

The rears might rub the fenders though. It is definitly possible to bigger tires on the front of a trike.I have a set of 110 forks that were extended 3''. So, yeah, it is possible.

Yes...I have 25, 13,9's on my big red and in certain situations where I am leaning hard to the right, the wheel will rub a bit on the exhaust. It's a minor problem. I was wondering as well if anyone stepped up to a 26" on these bikes...

That's what I am wondering too. If I aired it down I could fit a 26 on no problem, but at regular recommended operating p.s.i. I wonder if she'll go. Anybody ?

My 'Project Yamahauler' came with huge 25-13-9's on it on the back. Luckily, my parts lot has a +3" Durablue Rear Axle for 200E/225's. Someone said they are discontinued, not sure.

I still haven't messed with it too much, but Holic thought the rear end was messed, so I'll put that axle on if I have to replace bearing or the naught...

my better halfs father put big tires on a 200x and he could pass a 250sx on the top end, he could almost get the same speed from it as i got from my original 20 yr old 250r(it was a couple yrs ago) ON the top end

he had no low end power but it would get prolly 7 to 10 more mph on the top
he could get my 200x on the top easily the. 86 87 he could beat 2 i'd say
