Only get spark at plug after letting off starter? What the heck is wrong? Thanks

Weak battery would be my first guess. Make sure the bike is cahrging itself and hold it in other words. After that check you kill switch and any ground points on the frame.

Mucho Thanks I have tryed to track down shorts but no joy, Why would the plug spark affter crankiing???? Blows me away I like points and condensers but this CDI is Crap. Thanks aging for your help

take apart the start stop switch something is grounding out when you hit the start button.try push,pull or kick starting it may help with trouble shooting.

Thanks for the help. I will take the handle bar switch off again and start over, I guess I have to isolate every wire. Let me know if I can help you with anything... Thanks again

u could try and bump start the klt with the plug out if u get a good spark then check out the earth points on the wiring harness

Thanks to you, Its a cdi no points deal are you saying just put the plug in and push the heck out of it ?//I will try taht. I have tryied everything else.Thanks for the reply
